Kim Arndt was a three-year letter winner for the Blugold volleyball team. She has earned GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-American second-team honors and was all-conference in both 1997 and 1998. She was also selected to the all-Region team in 1997. She set the school's assist per game record and won the team's most dedicated award in 1997 and 1998. She also earned the team's rookie of the year award in 1996 and the hustle award in 1997. Arndt, a biology major, was the Student Athletic Advisory Committee president, Athletic Committee Advisory to Chancellor, a member of Campus Ambassadors, and a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society. She was also a member of the Biology Club, Phi Kappa Phi, and Intervarsity Christian Fellowship.
