Fri, Dec 6, 2024 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Eagles Competes At NCAA North Central Regional Posted: Sunday, April 10, 2005 SALT LAKE CITY, Utah - UW-Eau Claire gymnast Alison Eagles (Sr. -Shoreview, MN/Mounds View) competed against some of the best gymnasts in Division I yesterday at the NCAA North Central Regional and walked away with a 16th place finish out of 20 gymnasts in the all-around competition. Eagles was one of just four athletes from Division III to qualify for the meet. She posted a score of 37.275 for the all-around yesterday en route to the 16th place finish. Annabeth Eberie of Utah won the event with an incredible score of 39.625. A 40 in the all-around means a perfect routine in all four events. Eagles' best finish in an individual event came in the floor exercise, where she took 26th place out of 42 competitors with a score of 9.750. She tied for 31st in the vault with a score of 9.575 and took 35th place on the uneven parallel bars with a score of 9.250. Eagles finished in 40th place on the balance beam with a score of 8.700. - DN - |
