EAU CLAIRE - The seventh-ranked UW-Eau Claire gymnastics team completes the regular season when it hosts UW-Stout and Gustavus Adolphus College in a triangular Friday at the McPhee Phy. Ed. Center.

The Blugolds come into the meet with a 12-7 record. Eau Claire has taken first in the UW-Oshkosh Invite, the Eau Claire Invite and the John Zuerlein Invite. The Blugolds have defeated Stout twice this year and took out Gustavus Adolphus last week in the Hamline Invitational. The win over the Gusties snapped a six-meet losing streak dating back to the 2003 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association Regionals.

Alison Eagles (Sr.-Shoreview, MN/Mounds View) leads the Blugolds with wins in 10 events and four all-around competitions. Eagles is currently ninth in the nation with her all-around score of 37.0063 and seventh on the vault with a score of 9.4563.

Brittany Adams (Fr.-Maple Grove, MN) is 11th in the nation on the uneven bars with a score of 9.2313 while Jenni Wick (Jr.-Sartell, MN) is 12th in the nation on the balance beam with a score of 9.3563.

The Blue Devils enter the weekend with a 6-12 record following their third place finish at the Zuerlein Invite. Rhian Paulson is the top Blue Devil gymnast. Paulson is in the top 10 in the nation on the balance beam and in the floor exercise and her all-around score of 36.5563 is 12th in the nation.

The Gusties own a 5-14 record coming into the meet following a fourth place finish at the Hamline Invite. Brittany Moore holds the ninth-best score on the vault in the nation with a score of 9.400.

The meet is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
