Fri, Dec 6, 2024 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Eagles Named WIAC Gymnast Of The Week Posted: Tuesday, March 8, 2005 MADISON - UW-Eau Claire gymnast Alison Eagles (Sr. -Shoreview, MN/Mounds View) has been named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Gymnast of the Week, it was announced today by conference sports information director Matt Stanek. Eagles claimed first place in the all-around (36.800) and vault (9.350) at the Hamline (MN) Invitational on March 4. She also placed second in the floor exercise (9.300), sixth in the parallel bars (9.00) and eighth in the balance beam (9.150) to help UW-Eau Claire finish second at the four-team invitational. It is the second time this season that Eagles has received WIAC Gymnast of the Week honors. |
