Fri, Dec 6, 2024 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Gymnasts Top Whitewater, Fall To La Crosse Posted: Friday, January 28, 2005 LA CROSSE - The UW-Eau Claire gymnastics team posted a score of 179.150, good enough to top UW-Whitewater but short of UW-La Crosse at a triangular meet here today in La Crosse. The Eagles finished with a team score of 183.700 while the Warhawks finished at 172.500. Alison Eagles (Sr.-Shoreview, MN/Mounds View) was the only Blugold with a win on the day, earning a victory in the vault with a score of 9.300. La Crosse won the other three events and the all-around. Eagles finished third in the all-around with a total of 36.050. Lynn Morris (Jr.-Monticello, IN/Twin Lakes) finished third in the uneven parallel bars with a score of 9.075. Morris and Eagles were the only Blugolds with top-three finishes on the day. The Blugolds will be back in action next Friday when they head to Whitewater for a 7:00 p.m. meet. - DN - |
