(UWECBlugolds.com) - UW-Eau Claire gymnast Danielle Schulzetenberg (Fr.-Maple Grove, Minn.) led the Blugolds with First Team All-American honors on the second day of the 2010 National Collegiate Gymnastics Association Championship at Springfield College. Schulzetenberg recorded a sixth place finish on the balance beam with a 9.450 to take home the First Team All-American recognition. The top six finishers in the vault, bars, beam and floor earn NCGA First Team All-American recognition while the next six individual finishers receive NCGA Second Team All-American honors. Also competing today was RachelAnn Anderson (Fr.-Maple Grove, Minn.) in the floor exercise. She finished in 12th place, securing Second Team All-American honors, with a score of 9.250. The last time a Blugold received All-American honors was in 2007. |
