Thu, Jan 16, 2025 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Sikora Named Football Gazette All-West Region Third Team Posted: Monday, December 6, 2004 COLUMBUS, Ohio - UW-Eau Claire football cornerback Derek Sikora (Jr. -Neillsville) has been named to the 2004 Football Gazette Division III All-West Region Third Team, it was announced recently by Football Gazette. Sikora helped the Blugolds to a 7-3 record in 2004 and saw Eau Claire ranked as high as sixth in the country according to D3football.com. An All-WIAC first team selection, Sikora led all cornerbacks in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference with 80 tackles. The total was good for seventh overall. Sikora tied for the conference lead with two forced fumbles and tied for second with three fumble recoveries. He also recorded one sack, one interception and two-and-a-half tackles for loss. - DN - |
