Fri, Dec 6, 2024 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Stadium Chairs to be Available to Blugold Fans By: Tim Petermann, Athletics Consultant EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (UWECBlugolds.com) - Stadium chairs will be available for fans attending many UW-Eau Claire athletic events during 2009-10 according to Director of Athletics Scott Kilgallon. The chairs will be available for rent at all day type athletic events or contests that are expected to last several hours. These chairs are being provided as a service to fans and also as a fundraiser for the athletics program which must raise more than 30 percent of its operational budget each year. The stadium chairs are canvas over a heavy metal frame and a raised seat will keep fans off potentially wet bleachers in rainy weather. Fans will be able to rent the chairs for $3 per game or two for $5. The chairs will be available at the gate or concession stand at events such as football, basketball, hockey, volleyball, softball, wrestling invites, swim invites and gymnastics meets. Fans will leave their stadium chairs in the bleachers when they leave a venue and Blugold event staff will collect them. Individuals who have season passes will be able to rent on a season basis. The chairs will be $8 for football, $24 for basketball, $24 for hockey and $50 for All Sports passes. |
