Please include a source of proof (newspaper, yearbook, etc.) to support your claim. ![]() Tue, Feb 18, 2025 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Faber Leads Women's Hockey On All-NCHA Team Posted: Thursday, February 26, 2009 MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - UW-Eau Claire women's hockey forward Kristin Faber (So. -Austin, Minn.) led the Blugolds as a first team All-Northern Collegiate Hockey Association selection, conference sports information director Brian Monahan announced today. Faber currently leads the Blugolds this season with 25 points. She has a team-high 13 goals and is tied for second on the team with 12 assists. Faber also leads the team with six power-play goals and has one game-winning goal. Last season she was also recognized as an All-NCHA honorable mention selection. Beth Dittrich (Jr.-Roseville, Minn.) and Lauren Havard (Sr.-San Angelo, Texas/Araphaoe) were selected as honorable mention recipients this season. Havard is second on the team this year with 21 points, coming from eight goals and a team-high 13 assists. Dittrich is third on the team with 17 points (eight goals, nine assists) and leads the team with three game-winning goals. This is the first time Dittrich has appeared on the All-NCHA list while Havard was a first team selection in 2006. The Blugolds will be in action tomorrow for the first round of the NCHA playoffs in River Falls for a game against Lake Forest College. The winner will move on to the semifinals Saturday while the third-place and championship games will be played Sunday. - KM - |
