Sun, Dec 8, 2024 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Gymnastics Falls To Oshkosh Posted: Friday, January 23, 2009 OSHKOSH, Wis. - Despite first place finishes in three out of four events, the UW-Eau Claire gymnastics team fell short in its first dual meet of the season to UW-Oshkosh 170.050-164.925 at Kolf Sports Center tonight. Theresa Lynch (Sr.-Vadnais Heights, Minn./White Bear) recorded first place finishes in both the uneven bars and the balance beam, completing both events with a score of 8.850. Sarah Hulbert (So.-Waukesha, Wis./North) secured the Blugolds' other first place finish on the vault with a 9.050. She was the only gymnast of the evening to earn a nine or better on the vault. Anna Sutherland (Sr.-Arden Hills, Minn./Roseville) took second place in the all-around with a score of 32.250. She had the Blugolds' highest finish in the floor exercise, taking third with an 8.650. Next Friday the Blugolds will head to Menomonie for the UW-Stout's John Zuerlein Invite. The invite is set to begin at 6 p.m. - KM - |
