The Blugolds (10-3-3) are ranked ninth in the poll while UW-Stevens Point dropped back one spot to eighth. This is the first time in program history the Blugolds have appeared in the rankings. Last week the Blugolds received one vote after defeating UW-Superior, which was ranked 10th at the time. The Yellowjackets dropped out of the poll this week after splitting at Lake Forest over the weekend. Eau Claire is now in third place in the conference with 12 points while Stevens Point and River Falls are tied for first with 14. Superior is in fourth with 11 points. The Blugolds will travel to Finlandia University for two more conference games this Friday and Saturday. - KM - |
