Please include a source of proof (newspaper, yearbook, etc.) to support your claim. ![]() Sun, Feb 16, 2025 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Men's Cross Country Takes 13th In The Drews/Neubauer Invitational Posted: Saturday, October 18, 2008 WEST SALEM, Wis. - The UW-Eau Claire men's cross country team, ranked 34th in Division III, finished in 13th place at the 25-team Jim Drews/Tori Neubauer Invitational, hosted by UW-La Crosse at the Maple Grove Country Club today. UW-La Crosse finished the day in the top spot with all of its runners finishing 40th or better. Iowa Central CC's Stephen Dak finished with the best individual time of 24:35. The Blugolds capped off their race with 270 points behind five runners who finished 70th or better in the 395-runner field. Brent Kann (Jr.-Rice Lake, Wis.) led the pack for Eau Claire today, taking 42nd place with a time of 26:10. Jules Miller (Sr.-Green Bay, Wis./East) crossed the line one second later, taking 44th place with a time of 26:11. Chris Wirtz (Jr.-Weston, Wis./DC Everest) was the next Blugold to cross the finish line in 54th place with a time of 26:20. Tom Breitbach (So.-Muskego, Wis.) and Andy Warren (Sr.-Kenosha, Wis./Bradford0 finished 60th and 70th with times of 26:31 and 26:41, respectively. Next up for the Blugolds will be the Lake Wissota Meet in Eau Claire which will begin at 4:00 p.m. next Friday. - MT - |
