Sat, Jan 25, 2025 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Gast Named WIAC Offensive Player Of The Week Posted: Tuesday, October 5, 2004 MADISON - UW-Eau Claire running back Joe Gast (Jr. -Waconia, MN) was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Football Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced today by conference sports information director Matt Stanek. Gast had a solid day as UW-Eau Claire defeated UW-River Falls, 37-15, at Carson Park. He had 30 carries for 135 yards and four touchdowns in the contest. His one-yard touchdown plunge with five seconds remaining in the second quarter was the first score of the game. Gast added another one-yard score in the third quarter and five-yard and one-yard touchdown runs in the fourth quarter. With the four scores, Gast leads the conference with seven touchdowns and 42 points. |
