Tue, Feb 18, 2025 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Volleyball Ranked In Cstv/AVCA Preseason Poll Posted: Tuesday, August 21, 2007 EAU CLAIRE - The UW-Eau Claire women's volleyball team is ranked 18th in the CSTV/AVCA Top 25 Preseason Poll, released today by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. The Blugolds are coming off a 30-4 overall record and a 7-1 conference record in 2006, tieing UW-Oshkosh for first place in the conference. It was only the second time in school history the Blugolds finished the season as conference champions. Other Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference volleyball teams named in the poll are UW-Oshkosh (9th) and UW-Whitewater (3rd). First-year Head Coach Kim Wudi and the Blugolds will hold their first matches of the season Friday, August 31 & Saturday, September 1, when they host the seven-team UW-Eau Claire Labor Day Tournament.
