Wed, Dec 4, 2024 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Gymnastics To Host Final Home Meet Of The Season Posted: Wednesday, February 14, 2007 EAU CLAIRE - The UW-Eau Claire gymnastics team will host Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) opponent Gustavus Adolphus (MN) in its final home meet of the season on Friday night at the McPhee Physical Education Center. The Blugolds have struggled with injuries this season and have an overall record of 1-12. They are 0-2 in WIAC dual meets. The Gusties are 1-2 in WIAC dual meets and 4-8 overall. Two Blugold seniors will be competing in their last home meet, Ashley Brett (Sr.-Forest Lake, MN) and Andi Rude (Sr.-Onalaska, WI). Brett had a season-best vault score of 8.950 and a score of 9.300 in the floor exercise at the Gershon/McLellan Invitational on February 2nd. Rude also had a season-best score in the vault at the Gershon/McLellan Invite with a score of 8.800. In her last meet against UW-Whitewater she had a season-best score of 8.700 in the floor exercise. Last season the Blugolds lost at Gustavus by a score of 173.875-173.000. The Blugolds and Gusties will begin at 7 p.m. Friday night in the McPhee Physical Education Center. - JR - |
