Sun, Oct 13, 2024 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Blugold Hall of Fame Stephanie Strzalka Strzalka was a member of the prestigious Blugold swimming and diving team from 1985 through 1988. A team captain in 1987 and 1988, Strzalka qualified for the NAIA Nationals every season as a Blugold and was a four-time All-American. She was a member of the Blugold teams that won back-to-back national titles in 1987 and 1988. Her highest national finish came in 1986 when she took eighth place in the 200-yard butterfly. The Blugolds also won four conference championships with Strzalka as a team member. Individually, she won the 200-yard butterfly as a freshman, then took fifth, fourth and second in that event the next three years. In the 100-yard butterfly, she finished among the top seven all four years with her best place being a third in 1985. Currently a legal information systems coordinator for the Kimberly-Clark Corporation in Neenah, Strzalka graduated from Palatine High School in Palatine, Illinois in 1984. She earned her bachelor's degree in management information systems and business administration from UWEC in 1988. She earned a master's degree in marketing in 1997. She currently lives in Appleton. |
