Singles: "Erin Welch, Freshman, Tomah, WI"
Welch competed at No. 6 singles flight and gave the Blugolds their fourth win in six singles matches with a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Kartina Sacchetti of the College of St. Scholastica (MN). The Blugolds won the dual meet 5-4 to win their first meet of the spring season.

Doubles: "Laura Geissler, Senior, Coon Rapids, MN & Courtney Lynne, Freshman, Rochester, MN/Mayo"
Geissler and Lynne competed at the No. 3 doubles flight where they lost to the team of Casey Roberto and Katrina Sacchetti 8-3. The Blugolds went on to beat the College of St. Scholastica (MN) 5-4 to win their first meet of the spring season.

October 9, 2006-October 15, 2006

Singles: "Brenna McCormick, Freshman, Greendale, WI"
McCormick went 1-0 on the week defeating Sarah Schoenwaelder of UW-La Crosse 6-4, 6-1 at No. 6 Singles in a dual meet against the Eagles. McCormick as the lone Blugold winner in singles play against La Crosse.

Doubles: "Liz Deprey, Junior, Green Bay, WI/Notre Dame and Gina Dahl, Freshman, Fort Atkinson, WI"
Deprey and Dahl won their match at No. 3 Doubles in a dual meet at UW-La Crosse. Deprey and Dahl defeated the team of Schoenwaelder/Tornow 8-4 for the Blugolds' lone doubles victory over the Eagles.

October 2, 2006-October 8, 2006

Singles: "Sarah Riordan, Junior, Appleton, WI/North"
Riordan posted two conference wins at No. 1 Singles losing only three games in four sets as the Blugolds defeated UW-River Falls and UW-Oshkosh 9-0. Riordan defeated Becky Briese of River Falls 6-0, 6-2 and Cory Salo of Oshkosh 6-0, 6-1. The Blugolds are now 10-0 in dual meets and 5-0 in WIAC dual meets.

Doubles: "Liz Deprey, Junior, Green Bay, WI/Notre Dame and Gina Dahl, Freshman, Fort Atkinson, WI"
Deprey and Dahl won each of their doubles matches this week at the Blugolds defeated UW-River Falls and UW-Oshkosh 9-0 to improve their overall dual meet record to 10-0 and WIAC dual meet record to 5-0. Deprey and Dahl defeated Danielle Huper and Allie Nickel of River Falls 8-4 and Melissa Fosdick and Jenna Simon of Oshkosh 8-3 both at No. 3 doubles play.

September 25, 2006-October 1, 2006

Singles: "Brenna McCormick, Fr., Greendale, WI"
McCormick won both of her singles matches this past weekend without losing a singles game. Against UW-Stevens Point McCormick defeated Sarah O'Melia 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 singles. The next day McCormick defeated Angela Shields of St. Scholastica 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 6 singles slot. The Blugolds won both dual meets defeating the Pointers 9-0 and the Saints 6-3.

Also selected as WIAC Athletes of the Week"
The team of McCormick and Carlson went a perfect 2-0 on the weekend losing just three games in two dual meet matches at the No. 2 doubles position. McCormick/Carlson defeated Ver Bockel/O'Melia of UW-Stevens Point 8-1 and Rich/Beckerman of St. Scholastica (MN) 8-2. The Blugolds won both dual meets defeating the Pointers 9-0 and the Saints 6-3.

September 18, 2006-September 24, 2006

Singles: "Laura Geissler, Senior, Coon Rapids, MN"
Geissler went 3-0 at the ITA Fall Classic this past weekend in Decorah, Iowa hosted by Luther College. Geissler had to default from her semi finals singles match due to here doubles match in the ITA. Because of weather, the ITA was moved to Winona but the fall classic remained at Luther College. Both her singles and doubles were scheduled for the same time.

Doubles: "Sarah Riordan, Junior, Appleton/North & Laura Geissler, Senior, Coon Rapids, MN"
The team of Geissler Riordan their first match over the fifth-seeded team from Coe College (IA) by a score of 8-2. Geissler and Riordan then won their second match over the team from Luther College (IA) by a score of 8-6. Their run ended, however in the quarterfinals when they lost to the top-seeded team from Carthage College 8-2.

September 11, 2006-September 17, 2006

Singles: "Sarah Riordan, Junior, Appleton/North"
Won all three of her matches at No. 1 singles in straight sets as the Blugolds remained unbeaten in six dual meets this season. Wins came against UW-Stout, Luther College and Winona State.

Doubles: "Sarah Riordan, Junior, Appleton/North and Laura Geissler, Senior, Coon Rapids, MN"
Gave the Blugolds two important wins at No. 1 doubles against UW-Stout and Luther en route to 7-2 and 6-3 triumphs. Only loss came against Division II Winona State.

September 4, 2006-September 10, 2006

Singles: "Gina Dahl, Freshman, Fort Atkinson"
Placed third at No. 2 singles in the Warhawk Invitational as the Blugolds finished third out of eight teams. Dahl defeated UW-La Crosse's Julie Tellefson for third place. Tellefson was last year's WIAC runnerup at No. 2 singles.

Doubles: "Sarah Riordan, Junior, Appleton/North & Laura Geissler, Senior, Coon Rapids, MN"
Helped the Blugolds to a 6-3 dual meet victory over UW-Whitewater with an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles. The Blugolds split the three singles matches but swept the doubles. Last year, the Blugolds dropped a 9-0 decision to Whitewater. The Warhawks went on to win their own invite Saturday.

August 28, 2006-September 3, 2006

Singles: "Sarah Riordan, Junior, No. 1, Appleton, WI/North"
Won both of her singles matches as the Blugolds' new No. 1 player this year. Against her St. Norbert opponent, Riordan trailed 5-2 in the first set and then won 11 of the next 12 games to win the match, 7-6, 6-0.

Doubles: "Kristie Carlson, Junior, No. 2, Arden Hills, MN/Mounds View & Laura Geissler, Senior, No. 2, Coon Rapids, MN"
Playing together just once this weekend, this duo defeated its Edgewood opponent at the No. 2 position by an 8-0 score. They were paired with different teammates but both were also victorious against St. Norbert.
