Pitsch finished the week undefeated, posting a 4-0 record. On Saturday at the Blugold Open, he won the heavyweight title, winning three straight matches. He won with a pin in 3:42 to start the day and then followed with an 8-0 major decision victory to advance to the championship match. In the final match, he won 6-5 against Carroll University's Nick Grady to take home the title. On Friday, he posted a win against Oshkosh's Keith McLeod in a dual meet against the Titans. Pitsch won that match with a pin in 1:32.

At the Maranatha Duals this weekend, Rieckhoff finished the day 4-0. Rieckhoff won three matches by decision and another with a pin. He opened the day pinning his Maranatha opponent in 2:35 and then won the other matches with scores of 7-0, 6-0 and 7-1.

Rieckhoff went 2-0 this week at 184 pounds as the Blugolds competed twice in Minnesota. At St. Olaf on Thursday, he picked up the Blugolds' lone victory as he defeated his opponent 4-2. Saturday at Itasca Community College, he won by major decision, 11-1. Rieckhoff has won four straight matches and improves to 9-4 on the season.

Tyler Kennedy, 174 Pounds, Junior, Cottage Grove, Minn./Park
Kennedy led the Blugolds this weekend at the Candlewood Suites UW-La Crosse Duals as he went 3-0 on the day. He recorded three pins while the Blugolds went 1-2 at the duals. He opened the day with a pin over Brett Hamm of fifth-ranked Cornell College (Iowa) in 2:36. He followed that with a pin in 1:44 against Josh Porter of Loras College (Iowa) and ended the day with a pin in 4:54 over Gabe Vasquez of Waldorf College (Iowa).

Pitsch recorded three wins in three matches at heavyweight this weekend at the Concordia (Wis.) Duals. He defeated his Chicago and Concordia opponents 12-1 and 12-3, while his best match was a 16-2 win over his Platteville challenger. On the season, Pitsch holds a 3-1 record.

Seidler picked up a win at 149 pounds as the Blugolds opened the season against 15th-ranked UW-Whitewater. Seidler won with a 6-2 decision.
