Specialist: Lynn Morris, Fr., Monticell, IND (Twin Lakes)
Morris led the Blugolds to a fifth place finish at the NCGA Championships in Eau Claire as well as finishing in a tie for first place in individual competition on the balance beam. Morris was the catalyst for the Blugolds in team competition on Friday in setting the school record in the balance beam. Morris placed first among all competitors with her score of 9.525 which eclipsed the previous school record of 9.475 also held by Morris. Morris also performed well in the uneven bars competition, finishing with a score of 9.225 and helping the Blugolds break the former school record. Eau Claire finished the event with a final of 44.325 to pass the earlier record of 43.175.
In the individual competition on Saturday, Morris participated in the balance beam and the uneven bars where she became just the second Blugolds in history to win an individual event at nationals. Morris finished in a tie for first on the beam as she opened up with a 9.525 on her first routine and followed that up with a score of 9.575 in the second round for a final tally of 19.100. Her second round score of 9.575 set the school record in the event. Morris also competed in the uneven bars where she garnered All-American honors with her fourth place finish. She finished with a total score of 18.550 with her second round score of 9.325 also setting the school record. When all was said and done, Morris had claimed the Blugolds only individual championship since 1985, was named an All-American in two separate events, and led the Blugolds to a fifth place finish in team competition, a tie for their best result ever.

Specialist: Alison Eagles, So., Shoreview, MN (Mounds View)
Eagles put on a spectacular performance at the WIAC Conference Gymnastics Meet held in Oshkosh. Eagles finished in the top six in all events, including taking home first place in the all around and the vault competitions. Eagles set two school records on the evening, in the all around and the floor exercise. Her score in the all around was a 37.100, shattering the record of 36.225 set by teammate Kristina Reitzel earlier in the season. She also posted a 9.60 on the floor to set the new school record and lead the Blugolds to a new high team score in that event. Eagles finished the event with two first place finishes, a third place finish, a fifth place finish, and two sixth place finishes.

Specialist: Jessica Pink, Sr., Monticello, MN
Had a career day at the Jefferson Invitational in Winona, MN as she posted a career best 9.425 score in the floor routine. The score was good for a tie for second place in the competition. Along with the second place finish in the floor, Pink also finished in second place in the vault with a score of 9.150.

All-Around: Alison Eagles, So., Shoreview, MN (Mounds View)
Broke two school records as she led the Blugolds to a second place finish at the Aloha Invite en route to breaking the school record for highest team score. Individually, Eagles set records in the all-around with a score of 36.225 and the balance beam with a score of 9.425. Her performance led the Blugolds to a team score of 175.875, the highest score in school history topping the Blugolds previous record set last March.

All-Around: Alison Eagles, sophomore, Shoreview, MN/Mounds View High School
Finished third all-around in a three team meet with Whitewater and Oshkosh with a score of 34.600. Eagles finished first all around in the vault with a score of 8.975. With the third place finish Eagles led the Blugolds to defeat both Whitewater and Oshkosh at the meet with a score of 171-475.

All-Around: Alison Eagles, sophomore, Shoreview, MN/Mounds View High School
Was either first or second in every event and the top all-around in leading the Blugolds to a win over Hamline University, a team that won the six-team UWEC Invitational last year and finished third out of eight teams in the NCGA West Regional.
The Blugolds scored 171.075, the best December score ever by a UWEC team and the seventh best score in school history. Hamline scored 165.775.Eagles won all-around honors with a 35.625. That included a winning score of 9.275 on vault and second-place scores of 8.35 on bars, 8.80 on beam and 9.20 on floor. Her vault score was just short of the school record 9.4 she shares with teammate Kristina Reitzel. Her floor score tied for 11th on the all-time list which is headed by a 9.55 score. Her all-around score was the third best in school history, just short of her personal best of 35.775 and behind Kristina Reitzel's school record of 35.95.
