Finished 15th overall out of 237 runners at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional Cross Country Championships in Peoria, Illinois. She covered the course in a time of 22:11.62.

Missy Paulson, So., Birnamwood, WI (Wittenberg-Birn)
Finished seventh overall at the WIAC Championship in Platteville with a time of 23:54. Her time placed her second on the Blugold team and helped lead the team to a fourth place finish.

Nicole Zeug, So., Shell Lake
Finished first for the Blugolds and third overall in a meet with UW-La Crosse and UW-Stout. She finished with a time of 19:44.
October 14, 2002-October 20, 2002
Jane Ovanin, So., Amherst
Finished first on the Blugold team and ninth overall out of 318 runners at the Tori Neubauer Invitational. She covered the 6,000 meter course with a time of 18:59.5.
Sarah Kasabian, Jr., East Peoria, IL
Covered the 8,000 meter course at the Tori Neubauer Invitational in a time of 20:12.0. The time was a season best and placed her third on the Blugold team.

Melissa Wright, Jr., Appleton/Kimberly
Finished second on the Blugold team and 20th overall at the Division III Pre National meet. She covered the 6,000 meter course in 24:15.20.

In the Midwest Long and Short Course this weekend she finished first for Eau Claire and fourth overall with an impressive time of 19:07.60.

Finished first for the Blugolds and third out of 255 runners at the Roy Griak Invitational. She finished the 3,000 meter course in an impressive time of 18:55.70.

Jane-Marie Ovanin, So., Amherst
Was the Blugolds' first place runner and second overall at the Division III Challenge held at Whitewater. Covered the 5k run with a time of 19:00.40, just 13 seconds off the lead. She led the Blugolds to a second place finish at the D-III Challenge.

Missy Paulson, So., Birnamwood/Wittenberg-Birnamwood
Was the second Blugold runner and placed 17th overall out of 110 finishers in the UW-Oshkosh Invite. Covered the 5,000-meter Lake Breeze course in 19:18.42 which was a minute faster than last year according to veteran coach Tracy Yengo.
