Mon, Dec 2, 2024 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Golf in Second After Round One of Invite By: Kevin Meinholz, Sports Information Director WAVERLY, Iowa (UWECBlugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire women's golf team is just four strokes behind the leader, in second place out of 10 teams after the first round of the Wartburg College Spring Invitational. The fourth-ranked Blugolds have 333 strokes while leader St. Olaf College (Minn.) has 329. Wartburg is in third with 334. Emily Swift (Jr.-Onalaska, Wis.) and Catherine Wagner (So.-Austin, Minn.) lead the Blugolds with 81 strokes each, tied for fifth place overall. A total of six Blugolds are tied for 17th or better. The tournament will wrap up tomorrow. |
