Wed, Mar 19, 2025 No Event(s) Scheduled For Selected Date Women's Tennis Struggles at St. Olaf By: Kevin Meinholz, Sports Information Director NORTHFIELD, Minn. (UWECBlugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire women's tennis team had a difficult time at St. Olaf College (Minn.), falling 9-0 today. The Blugolds are now 11-7 in dual competitions this year while St. Olaf improves to 10-2. Eau Claire played a few close matches today. Lexi DeMario (Fr.-Verona, Wis./Verona Area) had the closest match in the No. 6 spot. After falling 6-0 in the first set, she won the second one 6-2 and moved on to a super-tiebreaker. In the extra set, she fell 10-2. The Blugolds will next be in action April 21 with a match at UW-River Falls. Competition is set to get started at 3 p.m. |
