The Blugolds had two runners in the finals for the 60-meter dash. Zach Lee finished third running a 7.08. Frankie Adams was right behind, finishing fourth and running a 7.12. Justin White was the highest finisher in the 200-meter dash. White ran a 23.09 and earned a third place finish. Tim Braunschweig finished eighth and Don Ehassfinished ninth in the 200. Braunschweig ran a 23.48 and Ehass ran a 23.52. Spencer Lindholm finished eighth for the Blugolds in the 400-meter dash, while running a 53.99. There were three runners in the 600-meter run. Adam Flyte finished seventh, while running a 1:24.66. Andy Sol earned eighth place honors with a 1:25.23 run, and Rob Wilcox finished ninth with a 1:26.41 run. In the 60-meter hurdles, Corrie Floyd finished ninth with a 9.11 run. Dan Koenig was right behind Floyd, finishing 10th with a run of 9.15. The Blugolds had two teams in the 4x400-meter relay race. UW-Eau Claire's A Team finished third with a 3:26.49 run. Members included Justin White, Tim Braunschweig, Brian Christ, and Don Ehass. The Blugolds' B Team finished fifth, running a 3:31.08. Members of that team were Adam Flyte, Andy Sol, Rob Wilcox, and Brian Riley. In the high jump, the Blugolds had two finishers. Andrew Storsveen jumped 1.86 meters for sixth place, and Nate Woodward also jumped 1.86 meters for seventh place. Jae Erickson finished seventh in the pole vault. Erickson jumped 4.42 meters. Josh Boehm jumped 4.27 meters for ninth place, and Ian Werner jumped 4.12 meters for 10th place. Dan Powers jumped his way to fifth place in the long jump. Powers jumped 6.33 meters. Mark Bader also jumped 6.33 meters for sixth place. Tim Lauer was eighth in the shot put with a throw of 13.52 meters. Sam Gibson earned third place for his weight throw of 16.96 meters. Next up for the Blugolds is the Blugold Open. The action starts at 4 p.m. on the Ade Olson track. -SB- |
