Toni Simones, Forward, 5-4, Senior, Rosemount, Minn./South St. Paul
Simones ended her NCHA regular season career with two goals for the Blugolds, helping them to a weekend sweep and shutout of Finlandia. On Friday night, Simones had two goals. Her first came in the second period when she fired one up and over the goalies glove. She then got the final goal in the third period to clinch the Blugolds 5-0 shutout. Saturday, she started the game and helped the Blugolds to a 5-0 win over the Lions. This season, Simones ranks second on the team with nine goals and 16 points.

Morgan Pieper, Goalie, 5-2, Senior, Williams, Minn./Warroad
Pieper helped the Blugolds to a weekend split with No. 9 UW-Superior. Friday night, she stopped 21 Yellowjacket shots as the Blugolds went on to defeat UW-Superior 3-2, just the Blugolds' fifth victory all-time against the Yellowjackets. Saturday afternoon, she had 12 saves in the 4-3 Blugold loss. On the year, Pieper has a .903 save percentage and is fourth in the conference in saves with 389.

Casey McMullen, Forward, 5-6, Junior, Minneapolis, Minn./South
McMullen was an offensive leader for the Blugolds this weekend as they defeated and tied Concordia-Wisconsin. Friday night she scored one of the two goals in the Blugolds' 2-0 shutout. On Saturday afternoon, she scored two goals as the Blugolds and Falcons tied 2-2. Her first goal was unassisted at 7:38 in the second period and the second was a power-play goal, her third of the year. McMullen leads the Blugolds in points and goals this year.

Mara Stormer, Goalie, 5-4, Junior, Waunakee, Wis.
Stormer was the driving force behind the 2-2 overtime tie with the No. 8 UW-River Falls Falcons this past weekend. On Saturday night, she had 34 saves and only gave up two goals against a Falcon offense that averages 3.82 goals per game.
Emily Larson, Defender, 5-7, Sophomore, Bemidji, Minn.
Larson started the third period offensive run on Friday night in the Blugolds 3-5 loss to the No. 8 UW-River Falls Falcons. She scored the first goal of the third period at 2:52 to break up the 1-1 tie. After her goal, five other goals were scored.

Nikki Kothenbeutel, Forward, 5-8, Sophomore, Sauk Rapids, Minn./Sauk Rapids-Rice
Kothenbeutel was an offensive leader for the Blugolds this weekend they swept Marian University. On Saturday night, she scored two of the three goals for Blugolds in their 3-0 shutout of Marian. Friday, she started the game and the Blugolds went on to win 2-1. Kothenbeutel is the point leader for the Blugolds this season, leading the team in goals while she is second in assists.

Toni Simones, Forward, 5-4, Senior, Rosemount, Minn./South St. Paul
Simones helped lead the Blugolds to a 3-1 non-conference win over St. Mary's University (Minn.) on Saturday. In that game, she scored the game-winning goal, which came in the second period. Friday night, Simones was part of the offense that scored the only goal in the 2-1 loss against the Cardinals. On the year, Simones has three goals and four assists.
Sam Knutson, Forward, 5-7, Freshman, North St. Paul, Minn.
Knutson scored the only goal of the night for the Blugolds as they lost to St. Mary's University (Minn.) 2-1 Friday night. She took advantage of the power play opportunity in the second period and scored an unassisted goal at 14:49. On Saturday night, Knutson was on the offense when the Blugolds scored their last goal of the day, an empty netter in the last minutes of the game, in the 3-1 non-conference win.

Allison Malecek, Forward, 5-4, Junior, Maple Plain, Minn./Delano
Malecek, who is a team captain this year, helped lead the Blugolds to a 3-3 overtime tie with UW-Stevens Point Saturday while the Blugolds fell just short 1-0 Friday. Malecek worked extremely hard both games and had four shots on the weekend. Even though she did not score a goal, she helped set the tone for the team's play.

Stephanie Hatcher, Defense, 5-5, Sophomore, Burnsville, Minn./Lakeville North
Hatcher was solid on defense for the Blugolds this past weekend as they went on to split with 10th-ranked Adrian College (Mich.). Friday night she helped the Blugolds hold the Bulldogs to only one goal in the Blugolds' 2-1 win. Saturday night she continued her strong defensive performance as the Blugolds only gave up 20 shots. Hatcher was part of the line that scored the only goal for the Blugolds in the 4-1 loss Saturday night.

Casey McMullen, Forward, 5-6, Junior, Minneapolis, Minn./South
McMullen knows how to score when the power play is on. This past weekend, McMullen got the first goal of the weekend series at Lake Forest College on a power-play in the Blugolds' 3-2 loss. Saturday afternoon, McMullen got the only goal for the Blugolds, an unassisted, power-play goal in the opening period. She now has a team-high three goals on the season and is tied for first on the team with five points.

Pieper helped the Blugolds to their first win of the season this weekend against St. Norbert. Friday night, she stopped 30 Green Knight shots as the Blugolds went on to defeat St. Norbert 3-2. Saturday night in the second contest of the weekend against the Green Knights she had 28 saves in the 4-1 Blugold loss. On the year for the Blugolds, Pieper is 1-2-1 with 133 saves and has a save percentage of .911.

Toni Simones, Forward, 5-4, Senior, Rosemount, Minn./South St. Paul
Simones scored her first goal of the season and recorded her first assist as the Blugolds opened up NCHA play against St. Scholastica. She scored the first goal of the game only a minute in to put the Blugolds on the board Saturday. Later on in the second period, she assisted on a goal to help tie the game up for the Blugolds at 2-2.

McMullen played a big role in helping the Blugolds tie Bethel University in a non-conference game Saturday afternoon. She had an unassisted power play goal from center ice to help the Blugolds pull ahead in the third period before Bethel was able to come back with a goal and force the game into overtime.
