Track: Tom Breitbach, Junior, Muskego, Wis.
This weekend at the UW-Platteville Invitational, Breitbach hit an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time as he won the 5,000-meter run. He not only paced the field, but shattered the facility record. Breitbach recorded a time of 14:35.77, over eight seconds faster than the Platteville venue's previous fast time set in 2000 by Dan Schwamberger, who is now one of Breitbach's coaches. Breitbach's time also approached the conference record of 14:33.00, set in 1988 by former Blugold Dan Held.

Track: Patrick Mackin, Junior, Green Bay, Wis./Notre Dame Academy
This weekend the Blugolds won UW-Stevens Point's Pointer Invitational, taking first place out of 12 teams. At the meet, Mackin took second in the 400-meter dash with an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying time of 49.82 seconds.
Field: Bart Mestelle, Junior, Sun Prairie, Wis.
This weekend the Blugolds won UW-Stevens Point's Pointer Invitational, taking first place out of 12 teams. In the pentathlon, Mestelle took second with an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying score of 3,573.

Track: Patrick Mackin, Junior, Green Bay, Wis./Notre Dame Academy
Competing this weekend at the Warren Bowlus Open at UW-Stout, Mackin won the 600-meter run with a time of 1:23.73. His time was more than a half-second faster than the next closest competitor.
Field: Tony Sigrist, Junior, Byron, Minn.
Sigrist won one event while taking second in another at this weekend's Warren Bowlus Open at UW-Stout. In the shot put, Sigrist grabbed the top spot with a toss of 15.03 meters (49-3.75), finishing almost two feet better than the rest of the field. In the weight throw, he took second place with a mark of 18.17 meters (59-7.50), less than four feet from the top finisher and an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying distance.

Track: Henry Darling, Freshman, Austin, Minn.
Darling took first in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.02 and anchored the winning 4x400-meter relay team that won with a time of 3:24.43 at the UW-Platteville Triangular this weekend.
Field: Tony Sigrist, Junior, Byron, Minn.
At the UW-Platteville Triangular this weekend, Sigrist won the weight throw with an NCAA Division III provisional qualifying toss of 17.01 meters (55-9.75) and took fourth in the shot put with a mark of 14.89 (48-10.25).
